Look beyond the size label
Check how each maker measures glove length. Wrist fit, comfortable finger movement and the effort needed to close the glove also matter.
Confirm which hand wears it
The throwing hand and glove hand are different. A glove described as right-hand throw commonly goes on the left hand, but confirm the wearing hand in the actual product description before buying.
A short check after practice
Brush away loose dirt and let a damp glove dry in a ventilated, shaded place. Avoid rapid drying with heaters or direct sunlight.
